The Kingdom Attitude

Scripture References: Philippians 2:1-5 & Philippians 3:12-15.

How would you rate yourself as against your attitude in Christ?

Your attitude in Christ determines your fear of God. The Bible is talking about us as believers.

Stating that we must align and relate with each other in similar mindset.

God bless us because of the way we behave and not by the prayer and fasting.

God must trust us if not we cannot receive from God as in Luke 16:10-11

[10]He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

[11]If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

The love of God is scarce amongst us hence the lack of God’s blessings as in 2 Timothy 3:1-3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money… without love…”

The believers are failing to forgive trivial things forgetting that behind such trivial hatred Satan holds their blessings.

Meanwhile, we have limited time to stay on earth; James 4:14 (“…you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes”), Psalm 90:10 (lifespan of 70-80 years), and Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, which speaks to a set time for life and death.

The reasons for unforgiveness will be left here earth.

Believers are hypocritical and pretentious in the house of God.

We forget that only God knows the hearts of men; Romans 8:27: “And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit…” (ESV).

Some believers are very good at causing confusion and hatred wherever they go leaving pains in the hearts of others.

The Bible says, until we come together in one accord as a church, God can’t bless us.

God doesn’t stay in the heart of hatred and envy.

The love of God was demonstrated on the cross.

The believers profess love by mouth and not such in their hearts.

The people of Babylon had one mindset to build the tower of Babel.

The devil knows the impact that believers can make if they unite in one mindset.

Some believers are very stingy and selfish but they want God to bless them.

The love of God is a covenant which the believers can’t express by human imagination.

You can’t worship God by your own thinking.

Education, reputation and the likes are good but those don’t worship God.

The believers are suspicious of their neighbors because of unforgiveness but they want to experience the blessings of God.

God dwells in the heart of men and you must empty your heart of pain and bitterness.

What has changed ever since you received Jesus?

The Bible says that you are a new creation.

You don’t worship God in fashion.

Whatever you are asking from must align with your character before you can receive it.

Gossip, casting slanderous remarks, cheating and peddling falsehoods blocks doors against you.

You are doing everything religiously in the church meaning you are doing it because others are doing it and you want God to bless you.

God is not your problem neither is the church your problem.

You are your own problem.

Maintenance of your life in line with the word of God.

You can’t come to the presence of God with grudges in your heart and you want God to bless you.

We are blaming God while we fail to work on our attitude.

You need full commitment and trust to qualify for God’s blessings.

The hatred against each other in the church hinders the blessings of everyone in the church.

The hatred between both parties affects each side.

Not until you work on yourself, you don’t qualify for God’s blessings.

The earlier you work on yourself the earlier your blessings come.

You can hold your blessings for longer period when you keep your attitude in the same state.

Hannah participated in her breakthrough when she worked on her attitude even when Eli provoked her.

We have blocked our blessings through hunger.

We behave badly towards relations and engage in poor human relationships with others.

Hatred imprisons the believers and you can’t worship God with such bad attitude.

Forgiving someone isn’t a sign of weakness but rather great of strength.

Love is stronger than hatred.

Many people that you meet daily are your destiny helpers.

You don’t choose whom to be good to.

You don’t put your selfish desires at the center for your blessings.

The blessing of God is covenant.

The blessing of God is for his kingdom’s sake.

You can’t ask God to bless you so that you equal cases with your neighbors.

Our attitude in Christ isn’t physical appearance but it’s heart related.

You can’t treat your wife badly and expect God to bless you, 1 Peter 3:7

Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

Worship God in truth and in spirit.

Empty your hearts and avoid grudges with people and see how God will bless you.

Avoid seating in the council of mockers and wicked persons so that you can enjoy the blessings of God.

Believers should counsel each other with a good heart.

Continue to do good to people incessantly.
