Stand In The Evil Day

Among the many references for the message were Ephesians 6:13-14, James 1:2, Acts 20:24, Daniel 3 & 6, Isaiah 59:19, 2 Corinthians 4:9, Psalm 91:10, Isaiah 59:19, 1 John 5:4 and James 1:2.He began by describing the evil day as that occasion when something unpleasant occurs in the life of a believer – or anyone else, for that matter. “Bad things happen to good people,” he noted, “and good things happen to bad people.”Accordingly, he said, it would be improper for any Christian to assume it was their special closeness to God that spared them the evil that befell others.
